History

In 1998 some members of the Polish Business Roundtable (PRB) concluded that the times when the interests of entrepreneurs and employers can be represented by accidental or exclusive associations or chambers with minimal powers are over. They decided to found a confederation of employers, and the private ones, with a highly expert character, able to use all powers which an organisation of employers is entitled to. Four branch associations of private employers were created quickly: media and advertising, banks and financial institutions, food industry and consulting, which created Polish Confederation of Private Employers.
